The senior vice president of commercial banking at The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc., Ms. Cannon has had more than two decades of valuable work experiences. She is noted for her expertise in financial statement analysis, business development and sales, and in turn, provides her clients with a range of corporate banking solutions. Working closely with companies worth $10 to $75 million in revenue, she is especially adept in cash and wealth management.
Ms. Cannon, who holds a master's degree in finance and certification in community development finance, attributes her success to her desire to help others. She regularly volunteers her services to educational seminars on financial literacy for various groups throughout the Chicago area. She is also deeply devoted to her community and serves as a member of the advisory committee of TIFWorks. Furthermore, Ms. Cannon is a member of the scholarship and nominating committees of KABA; a co-chairperson of the executive CDC committee of Lake County Partners, Inc.; the treasurer of The Links, Incorporated; and a board member of the University of Illinois Lake County Extension. She also acts as a mentor for young girls and helps them achieve their personal goals. Named one of the Most Influential African-American Women of 2011, Ms. Cannon intends to continue making a difference in the years to come.
